1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the platform:

• Account & billing data — your name, business name, trade licence details, TRN, email, phone number and subscription information.
• Customer & document data — the records you enter into TypeFellow, including your customers, documents, invoices, quotations, wallet transactions and accounts.
• Usage data — log data, device and browser information, and actions taken in the app, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and operate TypeFellow — including sending the automated WhatsApp, SMS and email reminders you configure, generating invoices and statements, processing payments, providing support, and improving the platform. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your customer or document records for advertising.

3. Sharing & processors

We share data only with the service providers needed to run TypeFellow — such as cloud hosting, payment processors and the WhatsApp, SMS and email delivery partners that send your reminders. These providers process data on our behalf under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may disclose information where required by UAE law.

4. Data storage & security

Data is encrypted in transit with 256-bit TLS and encrypted at rest. Access is restricted through role-based permissions and audited through activity logs. We maintain automated backups and follow ISO 27001 and SOC 2 aligned controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for any period required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations in the UAE. When you close your account you may request export or deletion of your records, subject to those retention requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. As the controller of the customer and document records you enter, you are responsible for handling your own customers' requests; TypeFellow acts as your processor for that data and will assist you.
